I just got sick to my stomach!  There was this girl in treatment who was in the back rooms where they kept the people who were dangerously thin.  She paced around every day and would not stop knitting and had this most hilarious mp3 player/ginormous ear phones she would wear!  She knitted everyone scarves and hats and leg warmers.  She was always so happy, it was refreshing.  She got to a ‘healthy weight’ before I left and was moved out of that room.

This week is ED Awareness week so I was posting love on some of the girls walls and when I got to hers, I saw this: ‘Still missing you every day! I know you are watching us from above. Love you!’  I started scrolling down and it looks like she passed away in the middle of March, right after her bday…so like a month and a half after I left.  My mouth is still wide open.  :( Just really makes ya think, I guess.

Monica…you were such a joy to get to know for the month that I was around you. I hope you are still going at the knitting and wearing those big ear phones while listening to your tunes up there! Thoughts and prayers w your familiy. I am sure you are missed by many!

Much love and strength to every one that is struggling.  It’s just not f ing worth it.  For REAL!  It’ is def time to go home on this note.  What a sad day….
